"In the more than 15 years that I have known and worked closely with Dr. Marcus Langford, I have valued his other-centered leadership style, collaborative spirit, and collegial, constructive approach to leading positive change in higher education. When I served as a dean, he and I were thought partners together who carefully reimagined organizational structures, systems, positions, and activities to best meet the ever-changing needs of our students. In each conversation, Marcus was methodical and thoughtful as we considered how to increase student success, engagement, and belonging, always grounded in a deeply held respect for others' lives. Marcus is a deep thinker and an earnest connector who helps others to lead better and impact others profoundly and positively. "
